State Regulation

In Indiana, it is a legal requirement to have a Food Manager Certification. Always Food Safe's Manager Certification Will Be Accepted By Your Health Inspector and across the USA.

According to the regulations outlined in 410 IAC 7-22, the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) mandates that each food establishment must have at least one person who possesses what is referred to as "food handler certification." This designated individual carries the responsibility of ensuring compliance with food safety standards throughout the establishment's operating hours, even if they are not physically present.
In most other states, a "food handler" typically refers to a kitchen or food service employee who undergoes training to learn and implement proper food safety protocols. However, in Indiana, the requirements for a Food Handler license align with what other states would classify as a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM).
To fulfill the Indiana Food Handler requirement, one must complete a proctored Food Manager Certification exam through an ANAB-accredited program like Always Food Safes training and exam.

To meet the certification criteria, you must obtain an ANAB Food Manager certification through an ANAB-accredited provider such as Always Food Safe.
